We loved collaborating with this client from Prahran to enhance their lofty third-story balcony that provided 360-degree views of the city and surrounding suburbs. The client’s discerning desire was for the space to provide not only seclusion and privacy, but shield them from the elements, be it sunshine in their eyes, blustery gusts, or unwelcome showers. To bring this vision to fruition, we devised a plan centred around their recently installed vergola roofing system. This is a louvre system that allows for protection from the weather when closed through the louvres overlapping to seal against protection to create a waterproof canopy. Conversely, tilting the louvres enables the infusion of sunlight and fresh air. Similarly, our 99% block-out mesh outdoor blinds installed provide adequate protection from rain and wind when closed, however, when opened they allow for sunlight and airflow through the area. 

Demonstrating our unwavering commitment to aesthetic cohesion, we meticulously powder coated the posts and pelmets to harmoniously match the colour palette of the preexisting architectural framework.
